My Story
I have been a spiritual seeker and inner explorer from a young age.
I grew up on a dairy farm in southern Minnesota. One of the defining moments of my life was my dad dying of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma when I was nineteen.
After his death, I started my sophomore year at Carleton College and was lost and flailing. It was 1986 and a new friend gave me a copy of Louise Hay’s You Can Heal Your Life and Richard Bach’s Illusions. These books changed the course of my life. I aspire to help people through my writing the way that these authors helped me.
I went to massage school and learned Reiki. In 1987, I received my personal mantra in Transcendental Meditation and have been a lifelong meditator. In my life, I have explored many occupations over the years, all while honing my healing and writing crafts.
I am a student of astrology and archetypes. I learned Light Body and became an instructor. I channel and tune into the earth and life force around me.
In 2013, I met Larry Crane and learned the Release Technique. The clarity I gained from releasing was unmatched in all of my spiritual studies, so I became a Certified Releasing Coach with the Center for Releasing. I now work as a healer and coach in Beloit, Wisconsin, and am working on my second novel.
